What Is Alpha-GPC?
Alpha-GPC is a naturally-occurring choline compound. It is marketed as a dietary supplement for a variety of health benefits. The popularity of this compound inspired scientists to present studies regarding its potential use for several applications. For example, a study from the University of Palermo assessed its therapeutic utility for victims of cerebral ischemic attacks. This study demonstrated that Alpha-GPC promotes cognitive recovery for patients that suffer from acute stroke or transient ischemic attack. An excellent tolerability was indicated as well.
